Anyway all is well now, and i can start posting again :) In this DIY post, we will be learning how to do a classic french twist. Its a simple yet sophisticated look to wear on. So let's start!
What we need to create this hairdo are just basically bobby pins, no rubber band is needed. Before we start, take a look at this video on how to create this look (as you might not understand my illustration :( ) :

STEP 1: Grab your hair in a ponytail style
STEP 2: Twist your ponytail ( do not twist it too tight)
STEP 3: After twisting the ponytail, twist it upwards in either left or right direction
STEP 4: So this is how it will look after twisting it upwards! Next, push in the "twisted" ponytail inwards and use the "outer" hair to cover it! Secure the twist with bobby pins and beautify it with a nice pin.
This is the end results! Pretty isn't it? Wasn't difficult right? I hope you like your end results as much as i do :)

Hey ladies, today's tutorial will be on creating a hair scrunchie. This look is chic and yet so simple to achieve. It takes less than 2 minutes to create this look, and all you will need is a rubber band and a bobby pin. Credits to Lin Fang (our model for this tutorial) and Pei Xian ( the one who taught me this look). So let's get started!
Step 1: Gather all your hair to the side of your face, and tie it with a rubber band to make a side ponytail. Step 2: Take a small portion of your hair from the ponytail Step 3-4: Using the small portion of your hair that you have gathered from the ponytail, twirl it around the ponytail to cover the rubber band. Ensure that the rubber band is hidden behind the hair as seen in picture 4 Step 5-6: Using a bobby pin, hook it onto your hair according to the direction as seen in picture 5 & 6 Step 7-8: Next, place the bobby pin downwards into the hair scrunchie as seen in picture 7-8. Pull the strand of hair all the way downwards and remove the bobby pin. And you're done! I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial, and good luck in achieving it.
Hi all, today i will be teaching everyone how to tie the classic french braid. This might seem like a complicated and difficult hairstyle to learn, however once you understand the technique, its actually really very easy. I really love the look of this hairstyle as it gives one a sophisticated and neat look. I would like to thank two of my friends for this blog post. Pei Xian who taught me how to achieve this hairstyle and Carlye for being our model. So let's begin.
Before i start on this tutorial, i recommend everyone to watch this youtube video at least twice as my written tutorial is actually based on ribbon illustration! Credits to LuxyHair for the video.
So to ensure that you have understood the technique, do scroll down for the written illustration to check again. If you have understood my illustration, this would mean you have fully comprehend the technique of getting a classic french braid.
Step 1: Ensure that your hair has no tangles by combing it
Step 2: Gather the top of your hair to the center
Step 3 & 3A: Split the center to 3 different strands as seen inpicture 3 ( Do not include the rubber bands, the rubber bands are just for illustrate that there are 3 different strands)
Assume the 3 different strands of your hair as the ribbons seem in picture 3A.
Step 4 & 5: Follow the wordings in the box as seen beside picture 4 and 5.
Step 6 & 6A: Gather a few strands of hair from the top right side which is labelled as "H"
Step 7 & 8: Follow the wordings in the box as seen beside picture 7 and 8.
Step 9: Repeat step 6-8 until you have braid to the desired length.
After which, you secure it with a rubber band. And you are done.
Tip: It is actually a criss-cross technique. Where the left and right always has to be the center strand. Eg. right to center, left to center, right to center, left to center. etc.
I am really sorry for my poor illustration and had to use coloured ribbons for identification purposes. But if really you do understand it, i will be one happy lady.
I am sure many of us are sick of our hair length every now and then, and would like to do something drastic to it such as snipping it from Rapunzel long hair to a pixie hair cut. But once you have made this decision to go through such drastic changes, at least 50% of us will regret it or miss our lovely long hair. So today, i will be doing a DIY tutorial on how to create a short bob without cutting your hair.
So lets get started!
Step 1: Gather the hair on the top of your head and tie it loosely
Step 2: Gather the hair on the bottom of your head and tie is securely.
Step 3 & 4: Using bobby pins, twist the hair that was tied at the bottom to either left or right, and secured it with bobby pins. (including the loose hair strands at the bottom)
Step 5 & 6: Bring down the rubber band that was tied on the top of your head slightly and move it inwards to your head as seen in the arrow on picture 5 and secure it with bobby pins. And how the final hairdo looks like from the back is seen in picture 6 ( Btw, please flaten the bump as seen in picture 6 with bobby pins as i did not do that for mine :x ) . And you are done! You have just created your own bob! You can style it with any kind of hair band too.
Hope this tutorial was easy for you, and may you have fun with this hairdo such as snapping photos of it ; )
