Review on Benefit: Fine One One

Hi everyone, its has been awhile since i last updated. Sorry about it ^_^
Today i will be reviewing on Benefit Fine One One. 

Benefit is a well known cosmetic brand that originated from San Francisco. What makes this brand popular would be its fun,cheeky and eye catching packaging as well as their creativity towards developing their product. Do check out their website for more details at

So what is Benefit Fine One One?  Benefit Fine One One is an illuminator. Its a sheer brightening colour for lips and cheeks. As you can see from the picture, it has three colours in the product. Starting with the pearl colour as the highlighter, pink for the cheeks and orange for contouring. I guess you can say its value for money as u need not buy 3 separate products.

To use this, all you need to do is just glide it on your cheeks with the pearl colour facing the upper part of ur cheeks so as to highlight your cheek bones. Next,slowly blend the colours with your fingers and it will give you a very natural pinkish look to your face. Like wise for the lips, just glide it on your lips and blend it.

To me, the colors are abit light for my liking unless i keep layering it by gliding it over my face a few times. Otherwise as you can see from the before and after picture, with just one glide, the color is abit faint :(

Sleek Makeup: Face Form (Fair)

Hey ladies, how was your long weekend? Was it good? Mine went relatively well.

So for those who have subscribed to bellabox or liked their facebook page, you should have known about this brand "Sleek Makeup", which bellabox has been promoting for the past few months. This brand had been raved by many UK ladies, and for those who are clueless about it, you can take a look at their website here : http://www.sleekmakeup.com

So, after looking at several reviews on other beauty blogs from other countries ( as sleek makeup can't be readily purchased in Singapore besides a few blogshops and a shop at Scape), i decided to get sleek makeup face form for contouring of face.

Introducing : Sleek Makeup Face Form in Fair

Packaging wise, it was quite good. Kinda look like something you will purchase at Sephora. Haha, maybe i am thinking a little too much. So lets move on to how it looks inside.

So in it are three colors. 1. Contouring Powder, 2. Highlighting Powder and 3. Rose Gold Blush  and not forgetting a large mirror to reflect your beautiful face :) :)

So this is how the three colors look like after applying it on my skin. As you can see, the contouring powder is relatively light, which i am not sure whether it is a good thing or bad thing. However the intensity of the color can be darken if applied more.  After receiving and trying out this item, i was actually wondering did i pick the wrong tone for this product. Should i have chosen face form in Light instead of Fair? Perhaps i made the wrong choice. Maybe Sleek Makeup Face Form in Fair is really for those who are damn fair or have porcelain white skin!! 


So to conclude this product, i am neutral about this product. Because application wise is good, however colour wise, i might chosen the wrong tone :(  I wonder what which tone would most Asian ladies chose?
