OTO Mbraze : Does slimming massager really works?

Everyone wants to look their best, especially in terms of looking slim, healthy and tone. I have always been conscious about my weight, and like most girls, i would always try to find the easiest way out ( Yes, i know exercising is the way to go, but i am lazy :P )

During a random day, as i was reading my weekly magazine, i happen to see this advert.

Since mother's day is approaching, I've decided to just type the 60 words essay and submit it to OTO. Hoping that i might have a chance to win a makeover and goodies for my mom. A week later, i receive an email telling me i was shortlisted, and my mom had to use the OTO Mbraze slimming massager for two weeks as it was one of the criteria to stand a chance in being the 6 finalists.

Haha, my mum the "jail bird". So this was the process, and they had to measure her tummy and hip area. And not forgetting her weight too. She had to use this everyday for 3 times. Each time last for 20 minutes ( there is an auto-off mode for 20 minutes to prevent over heating of device)

So how this multi-purpose slimming massager works would be massaging the fats/muscles with two knobs which conduct heat ( the red color light that you can see emitting out of the knobs). The heat is supposed to improve your blood circulation and help "melt" the fats away. Also the knobs would press against the acupuncture point on your tummy to aid digestion and bowel movement.

Wow, we can't believe it. However my mom's weight still maintained the same ( sorry, i had to censor out the weight to protect my mom's privacy :X ).

So it does slim down the body, but does not help you lose weight...hmm, whether is it effective? I am not very sure. Sometimes i just think it is a placebo effect. But my mother's tummy is definitely visibly smaller. I would recommend buying this for slimming rather than investing in slimming pills which might cause health problems in the future. However, this is  pricier option. So be prepared to spend $269 ++.  Anyway, i really do hope my mom gets in to the final 6!! Good luck mom.

Kilo Off

weiLast month, i decided to try this latest slimming supplement that was advertised in every magazine. It comes in different bottles to target different areas of fats you want to lose.

Presenting to you Kilo Off :

I was told that if i were to use the "Kilo Off slimming" together with the "Kilo Off Flat Stomach", i would be able to gain the maximum benefit of shedding weight. Each bottle is to be consistently taken for 8 days. To me, i quite fancy the taste and easy use of this product. All i have to do is just pour the required amount on a cap, and drink it. Best part of it, its not like the usual slimming products where you will have stomachache. Kilo off uses natural product, therefore its more like replenishing your vitamins in the body to speed up your metabolic rate.

Anyway after taking this product for a week, i can conclude that "Kilo Off slimming" works to a certain extend as i have lost 1Kg and "Kilo Off flat stomach" does not work as my stomach still looks the same. As what my sis told me, the product state that is "KILO" not 'KILOS", therefore i can only lose a kg and not more than that. Lol.

Effectiveness: 3.5/5 stars. As i only lose 1 kg, however i like that fact that it doesn't give me stomachache.

Pricing: 4/5 stars ( $27.90 per bottle) as this is the cheapest slimming product i have known to date and it is only sold exclusively in Guardian pharmacy.

Slimspa Body Worx Tablets (Day 13)

Hi everyone,


This shall be my final post on the Slim Spa Body Worx and the full review of the product. First things first, i know that my updates are pretty much revolving around the same few points but i really want to give you an honest day-to-day entry regarding my experience with the product. 


My verdict would be judged on:
Body type- Short, plump, puts on weight easily but takes forever to lose, stores fat mainly from butt down
Exercise regime - hardly any, twice a week at LEAST
Lifestyle- sedentary office style
Diet- Pretty much irregular, from crash diets to binging to starving etc.


I would suggest that if you are like the above description, save that 100 over bucks, sign up gym classes instead and go. I realised that it helps went you sign up for a particularly expensive class that you have paid for on your own, so then you will feel the pinch.


If you still want to try the product, go ahead. I believe there will be successful cases as every individual's body works differently. However, i do feel that the effects will somewhat be similar. 


Be prepared for the following:
Discomfort of about  7/10 in your tummy within the 20 mins of pill consumption
Toilet visits that will leave your 'back entrance' burning
A slight loss of appetite when its time to eat, which might result in hunger pangs when it's not time to eat
Disappointment that comes with the failure of any slimming product


There really isn't a way to cheat fat off your body without exercise. We all know this, but exercise sucks. Don't it ladies? Oh well, till another product comes along, i hope my experience helps!

Slim Spa: Slim & Detox Tea (Day 9) + Slim Spa Body Worx Tablets (Day 8)

will officially pronounce that the slim spa detox tea does not work. Instead of expecting it too, i shall just drink it like i'm drinking water to reach my target of 8 glasses a day.


On the up side, i still feel that the pills are working to keep my carbo intake up. Due to my recent increase in appetite since i started exercising, my carbo intake has been pretty huge. I noticed that even so, with slim spa body worx, my weight maintains as i have mentioned in a previous post. I suppose if i actually decreased my intake i might just shed weight. 


SIDE EFFECTS
Now, this is a pretty important thing to note. My period has been stable through my various diets for the past year at least. However, this month, its late. I can only point my finger towards taking the diet pills, which has been the only irregular thing to happen to this month's cycle. I don't know about you but i really hate the feeling of not knowing when my period is coming next and having missed the date. Mainly because i detest feeling bloated from all that menstrual weight and bloatedness. So the lesson here is, there are always side effects. :/

Slim Spa: Slim & Detox Tea (Day 7) + Slim Spa Body Worx Tablets (Day 5)

There was a pause during the weekend with the detox tea. It don't taste good and it wasn't as convenient preparing it at home as it is in the pantry (read: lazy to boil water). 


Since having put the combination of both into my body, my tummy has been acting up. Grumbling, aching, and not to mention farting, this of course in all discretion. You would think that the above-mentioned factors would mean constant visits to the toilet, no? NO! I'm bloated and constipated. I feel like i have to go but i can't. It just hurts. 


The upside, i've been downing carbo as though i were starving and my weight maintained. I have to explain, this is rare for me. One accidental bento box for lunch and i'm up at least half a kilo. So i am happy, i think. More to update when i'm free!


ps: i exercise approximately twice a week. cardio and sculpt.

Slim Spa: Slim & Detox tea (Day 5) + Slim Spa Body Worx Tablets (Day 1)

Because the detox tea didn't seem to be working on me alone, i decided to continue with it PLUS the tablets. 

The directions for the body worx tables is that they must be consumed 20 mins before having your meal. I had mine 25 mins before because i was still on the phone. The thing is I knew it was meal time automatically. At the 20th minute mark, my stomach starting hurting a little, then like mad. My meal was delicious but i wasn't able to truely enjoy it as the pain was too much of a distraction. Straight after my meal, i had to visit the ladies. To put across delicately, I was a long and painful visit. But i'm glad that something is working! 

Or..... it really could be that dinner last night was spoiled. :/

Slim Spa Slim & Detox Green Tea

Okay, change of plans. Upon buying Slim Spa Body Worx and reading the information presented on it, i decided to follow their advice and go for the detox before consuming the "supplements". 
I always comment about my sister buying every beauty product that anyone says is "very good" but i alike, buy the equivalent in weight loss products. It's day 3 of my drinking Slim Spa's Slim & Detox  Tea. 
I don't know how to put this across pleasantly but my bowel movements have not exactly improved. After my sister's attempts with a variety of detox teas, i expected to see myself visiting the ladies often. On the contrary, i feel constipated and bloated from so many cups of water + tea. Furthermore, i'm not exactly enjoying the herb-y taste of green tea.  Well then, 11 more days to go and then we be popping pills!

Slimspa Body Worx Tablets

Unlike the other posts, this isn't a review. Well, not yet it isn't. I'm actually going to embark on my Slim Spa journey. A little background about the product first...


The advertisements for this product has proven so effective that the $139/bottle of 90 tablets have been flying off the shelves. 


Claiming to: 
1. Eliminate sugar cravings
2. Block fat storage
3. Block starch
4. Accelerate fat loss
5. Direct nutrient re partitioning
6. Utilize fat first for energy
7. Control fluid balance
8. Enhance mood, energy and focus
9. Formulated for the South East Asian female body


Personally, the fact that its been sold out and point #9, made me get it. The part that annoys me is its price. Like all the other slimming pills i've purchased (extreme & nature-something), spending more on it then i would or have on any article of clothing irks me. But, but, but, I've put on so much weight in the past year (thank you mcdonalds) and even more so after taking up an exercise programme that i'm desperate for extra help. 


Having just purchased the Slim Spa Body Worx tablets, i shall be treating this space as my 12 day journal with the product. That's right 90 pills to be consumed in 12 days. 2 before breakfast, 3 before lunch and 2 before dinner. That's almost $1.50/pill or $10.50/day. 


So girls, before you decide the purchase the product, let me be your guinea pig and follow my journey!

Review:  Having seen from magazines that DHC is a very popular health supplement of watsons, i decided to try this products (btw, there is a wide range of products for DHC). I bought this product basically for 2 purposes. The manufacturers claimed that this would improve your skin condition and maintain your weight by speeding up the metabolism rate. so i was thinking,since its a win-win situtation,why not try it...so scroll down to see what i think about it

Before i start, i would first like to give credits to michelin tyre man for being beautifyus guineapig... From the picture above, we can see some changes. I did see some changes in my faces, my complexion definately become fairer but did not really see much improvement in my metabolism rate. In fact, the function of maintaing your weight is just a gimmick for girls to buy this product.
There is also a side effect i felt when taking this product, which was being really thirsty..therefore i suggest drinking lots of water if you are taking this product.
So i guess,this is another product that is up to individual whether to buy it a not. However, i highly doubt that i will buy it again due to it making me so thirsty!!!

Isn't this product suppose to make me feel energetic?!! instead of making me feel like i am in lala land.. well, i am not sure is it due to the fact that i have to much work until the tea doesn't work for me..However the positive part of this product is it does make my bowel more active but it does not work like laxative. So you can forget about this product if you want to use this as a slimming product.
