January Bellabox 2013 - CNY Edition

I am one who loves surprises, i.e is of course good surprises!! Therefore after much research done on the many beauty boxes that are available in Singapore such as the Bellabox, Vanity Trove and Glamabox. I have decided to subscribe to Bellabox as most of the items that were given monthly as compared to its competitors, are items that i would most probably be interested in, and they have a wide variety of items in each box monthly. 

As i was a late subscriber for the month of January, i had missed out on the Macadamia Natural Oil Infused Hair Comb which was the hottest item for the January box. However, i was glad to receive something else to replace that item as i am not really interested in products for hair unless its a hair spray or hair curler/iron! Btw, the delivery was pretty fast. Subscription to date of arrival of the box took only about a week.

So ladies, lets take a look into my January 2013 Bellabox..

                              

Inside is a light pink colored box (right) that is protected by a layer of hot pink cardboard (left). The packaging is very girly <3

So these are the items i have receive. I was actually very surprise as it was not the same as what others have receive for their January edition, which was a good thing for me! Lets take a closer look of what is inside.

1. $5 Sasa Voucher

This was the first thing that greeted me when i first opened the box. However, you have to spend a minimum of $30 in Sasa before you are eligible to use this.
Next, it is only valid for one month. In my case, it is only valid for 2 weeks as the date of issue of the voucher is 10 January and i have only receive my box today (26 January)

 

2. Skinfood Watery Berry Toner 160ml/$41.90 and Emulsion 160ml/$41.90

Description : The Watery Berry Toner and Emulsion contains Cloudberry and Lingonberry extracts that are excellent antioxidants. Along with Hyaluronic Acid, they work to penetrate deep within the skin to moisturize with a lightweight finish.

I have never tried any facial products from Skinfood, so i would try this out and see how it goes.

3.  Cyber Colors Gemstone - Lip Surge $20.90
Description: Cyber Colors Gemstone Lip Surge contains natural gemstone powders create luminous 3D lip contours and long lasting lip colors. It also contains Real High-Water, nourishing and moisturizing factors to form a moisture-lock layer and avoid formation of fine lines on lips.

This was my favourite item among the whole lot. It is such a steal <3 <3
The color is just how i like it to be. Peachy pink. This has proved to me that the people at Bellabox does look at your profile and take into consideration of the items that are to be sent to each of their subscriber.

4. Ichikami - Shampoo 550ml/$16.90 & Conditioner 550ml/$16.90, Intensive pack treatment
 5 tubes/$19.90
Description: Infused with Japanese botanicals and a very distinctive sakura scent, the Ichikami Hair care series have won the likes of beauty editors and clinched the Yahoo! Beauty Awards in 2012.

Wow,i have never heard of this brand before. I think i have got to give this brand a try since it has clinch an award and won over many beauty editors. I really wonder is it as good as it sounds?

5. The Skin Shop - Premium Secret Snail Vital Mucin Mask 10 pcs per box / $35.90
Description: Containing snail secretion filtrate, The Skin Shop- Premium Secret Snail vital Mucin Mask offers superior moisture to the skin which improves skin elasticity and helps smoothen rough skin.

Hmmm, yet another facial product. But the funny thing about this product was, at the back of the sample, there were pictures of men with flawless skin. I wonder is this a product that was actually meant to cater the males instead of females??? Perhaps i should get a guy to test this out for me.

6. Skinmiso- Pore Beauty Nose Pack 10pcs per box/$27.90

I was just wondering, with so many facial products given, i would expect my whole face to be thoroughly cleanse with the cleanser, toner, mask, etc. so i don't think this would be of much use? perhaps i should have a giveaway contest and have this item as one of the giveaways??


 
So in conclusion. i would give this month's box a thumbs up. It really got me excited in ripping the packaging apart and treating it like a treasure box where all the treasures are waiting for me to be discovered. Lol. Also, i would be continuing my monthly subscription. So do stay tune for the February edition of Bellabox.
Btw, i must say that this month's Bellabox for Singapore was much better than the one in Australia  :))) Lol!
