Hair Extension

Hey all, its been a long long long time since we have last updated due to laziness during the holiday *sorry*. But don't worry we are all CHARGED now and MOTIVATED to blog. I have so many new beauty products that i would like to share with you!! So hopefully i would have the time to update every week!
So let's start with the first post of 2013...........

It has been about 2 years that i have been contemplating about getting hair extension as i have never grew my hair past my shoulder length since i was born. I was unsure of how i would look like with long hair, whether it was painful during braiding/weaving, how much it would cost and horror stories such as maggots breeding in the scalp!!
However i plucked up the courage and decided to go with it.
So now let's take a look of my previous hair length and my current hair length now.

So my verdict on whether i love having hair extension? Well, i think it looks nice when i take photos and i have more opportunity to curl and straighten my hair! However i can't say that i have much fun about styling such as having fish tail braid, pony tail, etc as my real hair is pretty short so its quite difficult to gather the hair and tie it up neatly. 
Also, because my hair is very thin, the braiding can be seen protruding out of my hair, which is very obvious to others. Here's a picture to illustrate what i mean

                                                           
 Therefore you have to get used to explaining to people that you can't hide it and they have to live with it. LOL!! You just have to be confident and walk it with style! Anyway the braiding/weaving process doesn't hurt one bit and i love touching my hair. But do note that the hair extension would become dry and slightly brittle unless you want to spend more money on hair products to keep it smooth. Some might have trouble sleeping with it, but i have no problem with it as i love sleeping. hehe..
