I've been busy!!! I promised a bb cream post, but i haven't been able to take pictures to show the before and after effect. In the mean time, i've been experimenting with nail colors the past few weeks. This particular pattern came from another blog i chanced upon online, but because i was sorta not suppose to be looking at beauty blogs i didn't manage the save the sites to credit them. Going to get a manicure can be a hassle when you have no time, so learning to DIY comes in very handy. For this pattern i chose to use The Face Shop's BR801 which is the light beige color that forms the dots. For the base, i have chose Nature Republic's Mud color. It doesn't state the color or product number so "Mud" is my own description for it.
After waiting for the bottom coat to dry, i use the round age of the bobby pin to dip into my bottle of nail polish and draw little dots on my nail. Given that the rounded edge of the bobby pin naturally drips circles, this is an easy task. Of course i would suggest that there be some trial runs first! :)
EDIT
I realised i said almost nothing about the products. Okay, the Faceshop nail polish at $2.90 per bottle doesn't allow me to complain much mostly because of how cheap it is. Only the nail polish at Daiso can beat their price, but that's another story for another day. But if i really had to scrutinize it, its obvious the Faceshop's nail polish quality has much left to be desired. The color and brush are thin forcing you to apply too many layers. Nature republic on the other hand has quality like sally hansen. I would recommend the Faceshop if you're just going for quality, and nature republic for quality.
