Yet Another Make-Up Video

In an effort to help my sister, the founder of this space, i've put up a make up video. It's not so much a tutorial as it is just a simple two minute video of my daily ten minute ritual, sometimes sans the false lashes. I hope this might inspire people like my sister to try developing their own style of applying make up.

I was always interested in make up as far as i can remember, but only after i was done with my tom boy phase did i realize how much i actually loved it. From 15 i wore eye liner, first starting with the pencil, before progressing on to liquid then finally settling with gel. Gel liners are the least runny, in my opinion, when you've found the right brand. Maybelline and M.A.C's work almost the same for me. Both run a little when my eyes get watery.

There are so many products out that that i've tried over the years, and so many styles of painting, drawing and brushing that you need to explore to find a style that you are truly comfortable with. The fun about make up is that its ever evolving. The style you thought made you look spectacular two years ago no longer works today and you have to learn to change.

The basics of my routine remains unchanged though.
1. CONCEAL
2. HIGHLIGHT (brows and nose bridge)
3. EYE LINER
4. BLUSH

You can leave without mascara once in awhile if you're a heavy eye liner user like myself. In my opinion, the use of mascara too often causes your lashes to fall more than necessary- especially so if you're not blessed with naturally long and thick lashes like yours truly.

I hope you find that this video helpful in some way and i apologize for the way i rushed to finish it. In the midst of helping to change the layout too.

Feedbacks are welcomed!
